When looking through the rack of suits and tuxedos, you will come across quite a few different brand names. A higher price does not necessarily characterize better quality as it is only one measure by which to use when looking for a more desirable suit.
The following chart shows a listing of the top thirty more expensive suits located at the higher end clothing stores. These are sorted by the highest price (High $), then the lowest price (Low $) range and then alphabetically. I chose a total of 71 popular brands available at Barney’s New York, Bergdorf Goodman, Bloomingdale’s, Gilt, Luxury Men’s Wear, Mr. Porter, Neiman Marcus, Raffaello Network, Saks Fifth Avenue and Stanley Korshak. A second, more comprehensive chart, follows this with a total of 71 brands and the stores where you can locate these respective companies.
|Brand||High $||Low $|
|Dolce & Gabbana||4,395||1,883|
|Saint Laurent, Yves||3,680||499|
This next chart is sorted alphabetically by brand name showing the high price, low price and stores where the suit or tuxedo was located online. There are many names not listed here simply due to not being found in the web site for each store or was not considered in a higher price bracket with the rest listed below.
I created this list as a point of reference for myself when in the Goodwill stores with a cell phone to quickly find the more desirable and more expensive brands that might be available in the stores within my locality. Your neighborhood will most likely be quite different unless you live in a large metropolitan area that supports the stores shown above. Good luck with your selection and as always, feel free to pass along positive suggestions and your fortunate findings for others to be encouraged with.
